The film, starring Denzel Washington and Viola Davis and directed by Denzel Washington centers on a father, mother, and son. The conversations between them, and the things left unsaid.

The Ford Motor Company Fund, through their Men of Courage platform, has provided resources to support community screenings for families around the nation on December 14, 2016. These FREE screenings are being coordinated by the Campaign for Black Male Achievement in 11 cities, including Chicago, IL; Detroit, MI; Oakland, CA; Louisville, KY; Baltimore, MD; Milwaukee, WI; New York, NY; Philadelphia, PA; Miami, FL; Omaha, NE; and Charlottesville, VA.
